🎬 About the Theatre
The Holstein State Theatre is a beloved local cinema with deep historical roots. Originally built in 1927 and reopened in a unique Quonset-style building in 1948, the theatre is one of just ten like it still standing in the U.S.
Owned by the Holstein Development Authority since 2015, the theatre is run entirely by volunteers. It features a mix of second-run films, timeless classics, and community events throughout the year.
