The Holstein Fire Department and Ambulance Service are essential to the safety, health, and well-being of our community. Staffed by trained volunteers and overseen by trusted community leaders, these services respond to emergencies with professionalism, skill, and care.

The Holstein Fire Department provides 24/7 emergency response to:

  • Structure & vehicle fires
  • Rescue operations
  • Hazardous material incidents
  • Mutual aid calls in neighboring areas

Staffed by Volunteers
Holstein’s firefighters are fully volunteer-based and professionally trained to meet local and state requirements.

Equipment & Coverage
Our department is equipped with modern engines, tankers, rescue tools, and communication gear to ensure rapid and effective response.


πŸš‘ Ambulance & Emergency Medical Services

Our volunteer EMS team provides pre-hospital care, stabilization, and transportation during:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Vehicle accidents
  • Inter-facility transfers (as needed)

Training & Certification:
All responders hold valid EMT or paramedic licenses and maintain current CPR, AED, and emergency response training.

Training Coordinator:

  • Melissa Boysen
    Oversees all training requirements and continuing education for fire and EMS volunteers.

Training topics include:

  • Firefighter I & II certification
  • EMT coursework
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Vehicle extrication and rescue drills
