The Holstein Fire Department and Ambulance Service are essential to the safety, health, and well-being of our community. Staffed by trained volunteers and overseen by trusted community leaders, these services respond to emergencies with professionalism, skill, and care.
π₯ Fire Department
The Holstein Fire Department provides 24/7 emergency response to:
- Structure & vehicle fires
- Rescue operations
- Hazardous material incidents
- Mutual aid calls in neighboring areas
Staffed by Volunteers
Holsteinβs firefighters are fully volunteer-based and professionally trained to meet local and state requirements.
Equipment & Coverage
Our department is equipped with modern engines, tankers, rescue tools, and communication gear to ensure rapid and effective response.
π Ambulance & Emergency Medical Services
Our volunteer EMS team provides pre-hospital care, stabilization, and transportation during:
- Medical emergencies
- Vehicle accidents
- Inter-facility transfers (as needed)
Training & Certification:
All responders hold valid EMT or paramedic licenses and maintain current CPR, AED, and emergency response training.

Training Coordinator:

Oversees all training requirements and continuing education for fire and EMS volunteers.
Training topics include:
- Firefighter I & II certification
- EMT coursework
- CPR/AED certification
- Vehicle extrication and rescue drills
