There are a wide variety of Community Service Organizations, including a Federated Women's Club, Kiwanis and Boy & Girl Scouts.

A public Swimming Pool is one of the things that make Holstein a fun place to raise a family. The Pool offers Red Cross swimming lessons to people of all ages. The pool and is available for pool parties as well as open swimming from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  

Lohff Schumann Memorial Community Center

The Lohff-Schumann Memorial Community Center has two racquetball courts, a full gym, weight room, cardio-exercise room, sauna and hot tub, game room, TV room, and a community room that can be rented for either social or business functions. A baseball and softball complex adjoins the Center. The Community Parks and Recreation Dept. offers youth baseball, softball, T-ball, soccer, basketball, gymnastics, and swim team . Adult programs available are basketball, racquetball, aerobics, kickboxing and water aerobics. There is a special fitness program for seniors as well as many planned activities.

The Stubbs Memorial Library has an outstanding selection of books, magazines, periodicals, audio-books and videos. The computer room provides access to Internet. The Library is a member of the Regional Library System. Many unique historical and information displays are featured each month.
