SPECIAL MEETING

MINUTES

Meeting called to order by Mayor Mary Gross.

Members present were Fell, Lukins, Breyfogle, Ehler, Kofmehl.

Adm. The meeting was called to discuss the offer made to Mark Baker for the

Position administrator position. Mr. Baker had declined the salary offer of $39,500.00 made by the City and counter offered a starting salary of $47,000.00 plus other employment proposals (copy attached). Mr. Baker will be offered $45,000.00, which was the high side of the city salary advertising. Other compensation will include 10 days vacation (to be used after six months employment), 5 days sick leave, 3 days personal leave, $300.00 moving expense and health insurance starting June 1. Well Mark will be contacted about our insurance; otherwise a short-term policy will be sought. Termination and severance will be discussed after the 90-day probationary period. The council gave the personnel committee the authority to negotiate these proposals with Mr. Baker.

Motion to adjourn by Lukins, seconded by Breyfogle.
